To.Be.PAC. project:
main aim was to create a community of Ambassadors and Connectors between young people with different backgrounds, who share values and ideals. The project brought together 27 people that live in the region of Thessaly, mainly from the city of Larisa and under 30 years old.
The project consisted of:
-the 3day educational activity that occurred on 12-13-14 April
-the 2day educational activity that occurred on 11-12 May
-our participation in Pinios Festival on 19 to 22 of June
-our participation in the local-regional event "Democracy & Youth"
By using non-formal education methods, teaching human values, but most of all by giving the chance to a group of people to meet and share their opinions, ideas, experiences, fears, knowledge, feelings, concerns and expectations, To.Be.PAC. project transformed a group of individuals to a group of friends that are interested to contribute to the creation of a more democratic and open society.
A.I.D. Profile
A.I.D. is a non profit organization, which has been established to provide support to individuals and groups that are living in poverty or in exclusion conditions. The organization focuses on actions related to human rights, combating racism and the marginalization of vulnerable social groups by providing educational support services. A.I.D. is based in Larissa ,Thessaly. It is active in all parts of Greece and its members implement activities and projects in different places depending on the needs of the local society.Until now, A.I.D. has managed to have more than 80-100 members as an action group.
The main areas of interest are: the support of education (using formal or non-formal methods), the implementation of innovative projects, the support for vulnerable groups (Roma, refugees, immigrants) and to conduct researches. Moreover, A.I.D. focuses on the exchange of ideas and expertise between European countries, the intercultural dialogue, harmonious co-existence and cooperation of education alinstitutions,the promotion of volunteering and the implementation of innovative social, educational and cultural programs.
